I went to the last day of the Frank Lloyd Wright exhibit this sunday, and while the exhibit might be over, the Guggenheim itself is truly testament to his genius. 

 I had not been in a while and though the exhibit was amazing, I spent most of the time just taking in the light filled layers and watching the people swirl around in the glorious space cake. We are so lucky to have it here. I can't wait to go back.

While I was at the beach today, Parker replanted all of my little cacti (with some new friends) and arranged them in the most beautiful mini landscapes....

This posting is a little late, but better late than never. This weekend, Parker and I decided to watched Pretty in Pink in honor of John Hughes.It reminded me of how many of my all time favorite movie moments were either directed, written or produced by Mr. Hughes. To this day I still want to daisy chain around the Art Institute in Chicago or roller skate around target.  Do yourself a favor; rent one or many of his movies in celebration of a life well lived.

today I was walking down the street with a friend. A harley was approaching...i noticed some giant red shoes......as he got closer....i saw that it was a fully made up clown on a hog.
my imaginary world collided with my real one.
